About this remedy
Ashta Dikpalaka Shanti appeases the eight directional guardians — Indra (east), Agni (south-east), Yama (south), Nirruti (south-west), Varuna (west), Vayu (north-west), Kubera (north) and Ishana (north-east) — who govern the energies of a space.
It is recommended during Griha Pravesha or new construction, when experiencing vastu-related disturbances, before installing yantras or sacred spaces, and when a horoscope shows directional afflictions. It can be performed for homes, temples and commercial spaces.
Performed by qualified Vedic priests, the pooja includes Kalasha Sthapana for each direction, Dikpalaka avahana and archana, Vastu Purusha Mandala pooja, Navagraha Shanti, a homa invoking all eight Dikpalakas, and Purnahuti with daanam.
