A ghee or sesame-oil lamp is lit in your name and gotram every day for one month, with a short prayer for the intention you give in your sankalpam.
Families keep it through a difficult dasha, during Sade Sati, while someone is unwell, or simply as a steady daily remembrance when the household cannot light the lamp itself.
One booking covers one month. Book again to continue; nothing renews automatically.
