About this remedy
Janana Dosha refers to afflictions in the Janma Kundali that arise from planetary positions at the time of birth — malefic planets in key houses, Gandanta dosha or Balarishta. These are not permanent curses but karmic imbalances that can be harmonised through proper ritual.
The shanti is especially recommended for newborns with significant doshas in their chart, for individuals facing unexplained obstacles, and for families seeking peace and protection after childbirth. It is ideally performed on auspicious tithis such as Purnima or Pradosham.
The pooja includes Navagraha pooja with mantras for the afflicted planets, Navagraha or Mrityunjaya Homam, Maha Mrityunjaya japa with abhishekam, and daanam.
